Color Gazing

Color in your life is so important.

Beautiful Color can help your mood!

Beautiful Color can help your mood!

Sometimes I go for a walk just to breathe in all the greens, yellows and oranges of life.

This year there is much greenery due to the rain. My herbs are growing like weeds, so I can have more basil, sage and rosemary for my simple, special meals.

At the farmer's market in Hamburg they sell everything! Flowers, herbs, kettle corn and hotdogs from a walking vendor.

Some believe that you can breathe in certain colors to help with healing. I know that when I wear certain colors, I feel differently. When I wear orange I feel vibrant and energized. When I wear green, I feel warm and centered.

Think about what colors you enjoy and wear that color for the day, and notice how you feel. Does it soothe you?
Or does it energize you?

My soothing colors are soft purples. The color white is also soothing and cool.

A dark shade of yellow, the color of some flowers in my garden seem to bring our a peacefulness within my soul.

Beautiful dark shades of yellow.

The simple things in life are so important.  Old fashioned hot dog vending, going to an open market are special things to do. True simplicity is not easy to attain.

  1. Right now it appears like WordPress is the
preferred blogging platform available right now. (from what I’ve read) Is that what you
    are using on your blog?
