Staying Positive in a not so positive world

It is difficult to stay positive in a world that has many negative things happening on a daily basis.

From the simple things in life like your car not starting, to the more difficult problems in the world such as violent acts of terrorism.

How are you going to stay positive and optimistic with all that is going on?

I find staying in a positive mood a difficult skill to work on, but I try.

One way that I try is by encouraging and praising others. People really need a pat on the back for a job well done. Or maybe just a hug once in awhile to show your appreciation. Hugs are known to change people’s mood immediately.

Your Jolly Ways

When I see a happy, jolly face, I always comment on how joyful the person looks.

When I see someone dressed in some wild colors, I am brightened by it, and tell them, ” Thank you for making my day full of sunshine.”

Positive colors?

Yes, reds, oranges, yellows and bright greens always bring a smile or put  some joy into the conversation.

Just taking a moment  to stop and talk to someone instead of walking by can bring some positive light  into someone’s  life.

A simple hello, or making eye contact with a smile attached is another way to help you with your attitude for the day, and it brightens up the person that you smile at.

Pretending to be Happy and Jolly Works

Even when you do not feel like it, smiling and laughing turn into real moments of pleasure. If you put a smile on your face, you will feel and look better!

Joy is similar to spirituality. When you are spiritual, you are in touch with nature and the splendor of living on this Earth. When you are joyful, you are in touch with your own inner spiritual self. Inside of you are many joyful moments.
