Places in the Heart

I feel at home with old places. There is such strength in old places in the heart.

I feel at home with old places. There is such strength in old places in the heart.

I have found that there are old places in my heart that surface quite clearly when I have to think about death and dying situations.

You want to tell the person with a loss, that everything is going to be alright, but it is not.

It is never the same again. Whenever you lose a person close, you know that you have to accept the way things are, but you may also ponder on how you wish they could be here, right now.

Maybe just one more day with that special person would give life more meaning. This is a natural process of grieving.

I truly believe that even though the person’s physical being is gone, their spirit lives among us. You can feel their presence and their touch. You can close your eyes and see them any time that you need to see. The memories are in your dreams and in your mind as you recall the special moments in time that you had.

Any time that you want, you can hold them in your heart and smile at the memories that you cherished together.

When I need it the most, there is always someone to share my memories with. An old friend who remembers the way it was.

Caring, loving and enduring friendship helps to bring the wonderful moments to life.

I walk along the path of life and see as far as I need to.

I walk along the path of life and see as far as I need to.
