What do Positive People Do?

They spend time with other positive people. They Sing, they dance, and the have a lot of fun!!

In the winter months, it is hard to stay on the positive side of life! You may need to really push yourself to stay healthy in the winter because it is easy to fall into the trap of — it is too cold, it is too dreary, I am going to stay at home and vegetate.  And that can bring out your negative inner soul!!!

You have to push yourself a little more and you need to surround yourself with positive people, and stay away from the negative ones!

That may be a hard thing- especially if you have a lot of negative people at work.

Writing Down Some Positive Thoughts

I find that writing down some positive sayings and then sharing them with others really helps me to center myself for the day.

Author who writes about staying positive is Shad Helmstetter. In his book entitled: What To Say When You Talk to Yourself, Shad explains the many ways that you can make yourself a more positive person.

Shad believes that your self-concept is important to your success as a positive person.  The question? What do positive people have besides their glass being half full?

THE POSITIVE PERSON:

They Believe In Themselves

 They Take Responsibility For Themselves

They Create Their Own Future With Goals and Objectives

They Are Always In Focus About What They Want and Need in Life

They Do Something Meaningful Every Single Day of their Lives

Begin to take responsibility for your action goal of being more positive. Stop yourself when you feel that you may be falling in the trap of negativity and replace that negative thought- or something that you have already said, with a more positive and pleasant saying.

Begin a positive sayings log- write the ones down that you like the most, and post them everywhere~ at work at home, anywhere that they may help others to be as positive as you are becoming.

Begin to make your life more meaningful by living the life of someone who everyone says smiles a lot. Giggle, laugh and it will pass on to the next person.
