The Spirit of Gratitude

The Whale Story: “Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened.”- San Francisco Chronicle article

Recently, a friend of mine, Barbara wrote a note to me about a whale. It seems that a whale had been caught in a trap in Spain and a  rescue team freed the whale.

What happened afterwards was amazing because the whale went up to each rescuer, one at a time and nudged them gently, as if to thank them.

The team said it was the most beautiful experience of their lives.

Bringing Joy

When animals show their true appreciation to others, we are touched for life because we forget that they, like us, have thoughts, feelings and emotions which can be expressed.

We, as humans should also know the joy of helping others ( including animals), and how good it feels when someone helps you.

Know that you are blessed and very fortunate to have people around you who  will help you get untangled during your life struggles.

And in your daily life, try to  be the one who is first on the scene to help a person who needs it.

Your Spirit Lives on

Your spirit will always be remembered by others, even after you are gone, if you touched someone’s life in a loving and caring way.

We only go around this world one time, we only have a short time on this earth to be there to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Be grateful for all the moments that you have that are beautiful.

Be grateful for all the struggles you have that may not be beautiful but meaningful.

Be loving to others, and do not hold onto bad feelings about anyone.
