An Apple a day changes everything!

Like a butterfiy, we evolve and change in many ways to become beautiful. You can make the needed changes in your life to be healthier in mind, body and spirit.

 

 

There are so many sayings about good health. Are they true? I believe they are.

For example, I believe in the benefits of apple eating! It is the perfect fruit, packed with vitamins and minerals, along with its fiberous juicy and crunchy pulp!

Another saying: ” You are what you eat.”

This one is so very true, because you can see on the outside of most people, what they put on the inside. Watch your labels, especially with anything hydrogenated or high fructose sugars!

Also, a diet high in fibrous fruits and veggies along with whole grains and lean meats can really show on the outside. It may take longer than you want it to, but eating well changes everything!

How long do changes take?

For many people, they cannot wait long enough to benefit from any lifestyle change that they make. They want a quick fix, and that is definately not possible.

For example, it took me 3 years to get where I wanted to be in mind, body and spirit. “They “say, ” The average person takes at least 3 months to make a change that becomes permanent.”  Therefore, if you give up on things before that magic number of 3 months, lasting change may not be possible. And remember that change is possible with true dedication and keeping yourself motivated!

 

The Early Beginnings

I started out slow with my changes. Dieting is a bad word, because it has the word die right in it. So everyone knows that diets don’t work right from the start.

That means that you have to change your attitude about what you are doing. It has to become a life long goal such as: ” I will begin taking better care of myself by first losing some weight.” If you challenge yourself with too many goals, you will give up.

Attitude

Attitude and a positive way about yourself is possible. You can work on that daily. Begin to look for like people. You are who you hang around with too!

I know that I have a tendency toward negative thinking~ therefore, I have to work on thought stoppage daily. Every time a negative thought comes into my mind, I have to smash it up into small bits, replacing it with a positive thought. This is something that I will do the rest of my life!

Healtier Living

I believe you can do it.  Another saying, ” Just do it!” Nike!

“You can do anything you put your mind to”~ and this saying is also very true. Motivation, inspiring people around you, and a “take charge attitiude” can bring about the needed changes in your life.

    Eating the right things will help a person stay healthy. In today’s society, many people are over-weight. Americans are known for this. Healthy eating habits should be taught to our children when they are young.

      Hi Jennifer, Thank you for posting. I truly believe in eating apples! I not only think they are delicious, I eat one every single day. Sometimes more than one. They are high in fiber~ and a great source of natural energy! Thank you.
