Wheat Berry Summer Salad

I love grains. Here is a recipe that can top any mayonaise salad out there. And all you need are some grains, a good chopper, some olive oil, cranberries and  apples!

Ingredients

Cook a 1/2 cup wheat berry grains in 1 cup water for about 10 minutes ( whole wheat)

Let cool.

Chop:

raw celery, carrots, brocolli, califlower.

Chop them finely.

Mix in 1/2 cup favorite dried berries

Add 1/4 cup black olives

After grains have cooled, add to the mix.

To the mixture: add 1 teaspoon agave, or honey and 1 teaspoon olive oil. Top with a shake of cinnomon. and chopped apples.

Refrigerate for at leat 1 hour before serving
