What to do when you need to just lose a few more pounds!

Take a walk on the beach. Walking in sand is a great workout!

 

You are down to the wire, you have lost almost all the weight you want to. What to do if you are stuck.

I just received a few tips from some health professionals today. Here are 2 suggestions on how to take off the last 10 pounds.

1. Exercise after you eat your last meal for the day. You have to burn off those calories that you ate for dinner if you want a weight loss for the day.

2. What to eat at dinner time: Do not eat any bread after lunch time. For dinner, eat only complex carbohydrates such as fruits, veggies and grains.

Try out these two ideas! What have you got to lose?

Another idea for walking. Try some steps! They are also a good workout.

Steps are always difficult for me, especially going up! But a few times up and down can really burn some calories fast. They also have those step climbers at the gym, and even the best of athletes have difficulty staying on the climbers for a long time!

Another tip on reducing, and what to eat. Dr. Neal Barnard in his book: Foods That Cause you to Lose Weight: The Negative Calorie Effect states that there are 20 foods that you can eat in unlimited portions:

Corn, rice, potatoes, lettuce, broccoli, black beans, kidney beans, spinach, lentils, celery, bananas, oatmeal, grapefruit, apples, oranges, pineapple, cauliflower, peas, cabbage

Also cutting out the fats and oils. Fat in food is fat on you!

    I believe that exercise is important for mind body and soul. Starting exercise early in the morning will make the day complete. Walking four days a week will rejuvenate your mind and body. This will start the day in a positive feeling. Always check with your doctor and keep in touch with your inner feelings and your body wellness.
