>How to Get out of the Blues in December

>I always find myself a bit down this time of year, even feeling physically drained from all the changes in the weather and the holidays approaching.
Here are some suggestions for those who would like to get out of the blues!
Try some tenderness
Author Jay Cleve, PhD believes that when we try to be not only good to others, but good to ourselves, we feel better! So get out there and do something that you really enjoy.
Try being Compassionate
Having compassion for others helps me to feel better.  Write some holiday letters instead of cards, pick up the kids after school and take them to dinner, catch up with an old friend. Kindling old friendships is something that I try to do over the holidays.
So get out there and have some fun! Having fun and smiling ( even if you don’t feel like it) will help you to fend the storm during this holiday season.
