>Choose your sorrow

>This may sound a bit depressing but the holiday season can bring up unsettling feelings and thoughts

Writing down things can be very helpful when you are trying to settle something in your mind.

We all go through  loses in life, and try our best to get by.

Sometimes we get stuck in anger or grief and sorrow.

Mine has always been sorrow.

I look back without anger, just sorrow and some disappointment for some of the things that have happened to me in the past. Some disappointments were self-induced, others happened because I let them and others I truly had no control over.

I believe that you have to choose your sorrow. Make it a good one to grieve upon because picking yourself up afterwards can be difficult.

Remember that in good and bad times, the world unfolds as it should. You cannot change what has happened to you in the past, but you can control some of the things that are going on right now. Try your best to be happy.
