>Corrective Action that keeps your weight maintained

>Some people believe that they can go on a “diet”, lose weight and keep it off. The truth is, you can lose weight, but to keep it off you have to do corrective action every time you gain more than 2 pound. That means that you need to keep your eyes on the scale- at least once a week.
What kinds of corrective actions do you do?
There are many ideas such as exercising more for a few days to get them pounds off, or eating just a little less ( lose the bread/pasta for a couple of days).
My best corrective action is to exercise as many times as I eat each day! That means snacking too!!
Other corrective actions include Mindful and Intuitive eating experiences:
The goal is to eat only when hungry, but not starving, and to stop when full but not too full. Becoming intuitive also means becoming aware of what your body needs and looking at food differently. You need to slow down when you eat, and look at the colors and textures of the food you are eating, chewing slowly, which can also make the meal more pleasurable.
Other techniques include using smaller plates to eat your meals so you are not eating too much.
I like to buy special colorful, small dinner plates that brighten my table.
