>It seems that our culture is obsessed with thinness, therefore in order to stay healthy in mind, spirit and body, you need to show respect for your body as it is -right now.
Feeling good about yourself in the present can help motivate you to make some of the changes you need to make. Not only with body image, but with deciding who you are, where you are going and what are your goals?
Stand in front of a mirror regularly, and thank your body for all it has done for you. You may also want to start making positive affirmations about your body, and its image right now. Such as: “I accept my body, just the way it is right now.” “I am a beautiful person.”
