1. Prebiotics: whole grains, especially oatmeal, flax and barley, greens, berries, bananas, legumes, onions, garlic, honey, agave, leeks
Probiotics: yogurt with active live cultures, kefir,  kim chi and sauerkraut and other fermented dairy products which includes vegetarian products such as Meso, Tempeh and Soy Yogurt
Soy Products: soybeans /soymilk
Synbiotics: New innovative products which contain both pre and probiotics
2. Phenols: apples, pears, citrus fruits, parsley,carrots, broccoli, cabbage, cucumbers, squash, yams, tomatoes
3. Lignans: Flax seed, rye
4. Isothiocyanates: Cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, brussel sprouts, horseradish
5. Flavonoids: Berries, (especially dark) cherries, red grapes, tea (especially green)
6. Lycopene: Found in tomato products
7.Carotenoids: B-Carotene found in carrots, dark orange fruits, butternut squash, cantalope

2. Eicosapentaenoic Acid: found in herin, salmon, Wild Alaskin Salmon, Blue fin tuna, sardines in oil stiped and sea bass
